Bravo has been one of our favourites for years. The two for one main meals offer on Tuesdays is great value, we try to get there at least every second or third each month. Their new oat crumbed white fish is great – I can definitely recommend it!! Although my husband would probably recommend the eye fillet. A great, happy little place tucked away in the valley, but well worth the visit.

I celebrated my Bday last weekend at Hotel Bravo with my friends and it was one of the best days of my life. The food was awesome and the service was great, very friendly and always taking good care of all of us. It’s a great place to spend the weekend.

We like to stay in Fortitude Valley when we visit Brisbane because it is so vibrant.  We had bought a deal for the Hotel Bravo Restaurant and used the deal for lunch.  Our meal started with a trio of dips and toasted ciabatta. Very tasty and we really enjoyed the different textures of each dip. We were also treated to a large cold sangria which was very enjoyable….enough fresh fruit without it becoming a fruit salad! The arrival of our tapas plate was the clincher. Beautifully presented, the samplers were a surprise and delight at the same time, plus very satisfying.  We thought the quality of all the food was very good but the beef was exceptional. It can be a mistake in Australia to think “hotel’ just means a “pub”. Hotel Bravo is definitely not a pub!

Hotel Bravo Is a great place for a yummy cocktail at bargain happy hour prices.Try their French Martini…it’s delish! They also have some stellar tapas on offer, and I crave their chicken green chili spring rolls. To die for! Beef cheeks are yum, as are many offerings on their menu. Wait staff is friendly and attentive-a rare find these days. Love this place!

Dined at this restaurant on a two for the price of one Tuesday night. The seafood was very fresh and delicious, service was good, and lots of choices available for all food preference people. Situated on Brunswick street(Fortitude Valley) this place is a real treat. Walked in at 10.30pm and was grateful that the kitchen accepted us as most places were closed. Unhurried friendly service even at that hour was noteworthy. Food was good quality and they serve Asian, Modern, Australian and Seafood .I had the Veg mushroom ravioli not featured in the menu but made specially for me as I was vegetarian. The room is stylishly furnished with muted earthy tones. The bar is separated from the dining section .The is also a deck on the outside for dining with protective sheets when it is cold. A good place for to relax and dine. They have a good selection of wine, beer and spirits as well.

Kitchen was about to close around 10.30 PM but they let us in kindly. Service was polite and friendly. Food was very good and my wife said that the risotto was one of the best she had tasted. The snapper Thai style and the Chicken breast were yum. A very nice place to dine in Brunswick!

I’ve been to a few celebrations thrown by a friend of mine who favours this place and it’s easy to see way. The cocktail list is extensive, the bartenders knowledgeable and there’s a great outdoor terrace to sit at and enjoy your food and drink. On weekends they do jugs of sangria — a great way to get the party started!

Re. food they do a range of tapas and mains. Personally I prefer ordering a few tapas items as compared to getting just one main. The crispy fried potatoes with chilli & tomato + sour cream are always good, and they do some really nice fresh Pacific oysters. These guys do some good mid week specials. Ask at the bar and they’ll let you know…

Dined at the Hotel Bravo Bistro on Friday night, the greeting we received set the standard for the evening. The waiting staff were polite,well trained and very helpful. The menu was outstanding and well priced, the food was well presented and delicious and arrived quickly. A wonderful meal, thank you.

Fantastic restaurant – great meals, huge servings and a lot of variety. Caters well for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free. Staff are genuinely happy to see you and welcome you back. Service is fast and efficient but friendly. Try the lamb shanks – they are amazing. Little tapas are great for sharing with drinks. Good central location. Definately try the cocktails!!!

Bravo really do offer quality food and drinks, and have always been more than accommodating for my sister’s gluten intolerance (unlike other restaurants, Bravo offers quality gf options, which have in some cases exceeded the standard of the regular options, as well – a nice surprise!). They are consistent with quality service and delicious menu items.

Fabulous and well priced. Great but busy atmosphere and the food is fantastic! Wonderful for those who are on gluten free diets, as Hotel Bravo’s gluten free menu is superb with plenty of variety! One of our friends, who was dining with us, is a Coeliac, and she was very impressed with the food. The portions are also huge and you won’t go home hungry! The wine list is fantastic too, and there are many wines available by the glass, so that you can try several if the mood takes you. Service is very good and we found it to be quite prompt and courteous. This was on a busy Saturday night. A great restaurant and bar for a fun night out with friends. Highly recommended!

Bravo is a curious beast. Its prime time seems to be after 5 on weeknights for the after-work-drinks set, and Friday nights until late. At other times it seems to be a little too far from the Valley mall to attract a very big crowd. This isn’t a bad thing at all – Bravo can be a haven of a bar if you’re looking for quiet glass of wine or stopping in on your way out for a big night.

The cocktails are very well made and reasonably priced, and the tapas are excellent (especially the pork and lamb koftas). If you’re a bit too hungry for tapas, you can grab a table and choose from the larger menu, which offers mains from $24 to $27. With the ‘eat famously’ promotion currently on, you can score half price meals if you’re seated by 6:30pm and out of there by 8pm.

On a busy night you might face a bit of a wait at the bar, especially if all the bartenders are making cocktails, but it’s worth the wait. Bravo have discounts on different nights and different events, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their website or Facebook page to keep up to date and score a bargain.

Up Brunswick Road just a few hundred metres is this gem of a cocktail bar. With superbly trained bar staff if you really care about how dirty your dirty martini should be then this is the place for you.

I’ve been here a couple of times, usually by the request of a girl who’s travelling with us on the night, “I’ll let you try my Mai Tai and you’ll understand.” She said and understand we did. Hotel Bravo is a tiny bit out of your way if you considering going there and it uses this to it’s advantage, much quieter than any other place in the valley and with no dance floor this is a traditional bar in the strictest sense of the word. Expect to be surrounded by men in nice suits and women in more sophisticated wear than a few hundred metres north. A great little bar that’s perfect if your looking to talk over a few drinks.

Hotel Bravo has only ever struck me as a place for after-work/dinner drinks and never as a place I would spend a large portion of a night out. Still, when I’m not in the mood for silly antics and carefree dancing, I suppose Hotel Bravo would be an ideal sort of place. It’s an ideal setting for a group of people who want to sit and enjoy a few drinks and some light banter after a hard day’s work. This place strikes me as more of a “conversationalist place” without the air of snobbery that comes with some cocktail bars where only a dull whisper is acceptable.

Bravo has a great range of beer on tap and some wild cocktail concoctions I have never seen before, so maybe I’m a little naïve in my opinion of it being a more controlled environment. Still, I feel it’s a place to sling back a few beers, have a chat with mates, and either push on to a wilder destination or call it a night. Either way, it makes for a pretty good pit stop you can just wander in to along Brunswick Street.

I highly recommend Hotel Bravo! They’ve really improved since I used to frequent there a few years ago! Their cocktails are delicious, the food is mouth-watering and the service is fast and friendly.

I have been going to Bravo’s for many years and never tire of heading in there whether it be during the week or over the weekend. Beautiful delicious cuisine, wonderful ambience and fantastic drinks. The service is exceptional with friendly and welcoming staff. If you want to socialise and have fun or just have an intimate evening, Bravo’s is the place to go!

Bravo has always been a favourite of mine for cocktails and tapas. I love the green chilli chicken spring rolls – if you go you have to try them. I also recently dined there as well (we usually just stick to the bar side to be honest!) for a friend’s birthday and the food was great. I was really happily surprised at the value considering the quality, size and presentation of the meals.

I recently had a large group booking in the restaurant section. The lady who organised the booking for me was incredibly friendly & helpful. We had the group set menu and I was very pleased with the quality and variety of food offered. Value for money was also a big plus for me. The food was great, waitstaff very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The bar has always been a favourite of mine but now the restaurant is as well.

This is one place perfect for everthing, and I mean everything! We started off at a table for dinner – which was amazing – and then moved to an area for drinks in the bar after dinner. We just had such a great night as literally everything was perfect from the second we walked through the door. This is not just a bar, as the food is better than anywhere else i’ve ever been, yet the bar is busy and lively with cocktails that are enough to get me there than I probably should Recommend for dinner, drinks, everything!!

We recently enjoyed a great lunch there with some friends. The service was fantastic but granted there was barely another customer in sight. The food was also very enjoyable! Not huge portions which is to be expected in a more top end restaurant. It also left room to try the beautiful desserts and leave by foot rather than by way of rolly-poly. I would recommend it.
